New For Spring 2029

Taking place over a whole weekend, or (two separate weekdays days by arrangement) the Essential Dressmaking Workshop promises to be a fun, inspiring 2 days of sewing .

Our brand new Essential Dressmaking Workshop has been designed for beginner sewists looking to develop their dressmaking skills. Come and learn invaluable sewing skills and make your own garment ready for the oncoming season.

The workshop will feature our popular sewing pattern, An A line Classic Dress which is an every-day, lovely dress that you'll find yourself wearing throughout the year.
This stunning A-line dress creates a classically flattering silhouette with zip at back. Featuring a fitted bodice, loose elbow-length sleeves and sophisticated V-neckline, this garment will add timeless elegance to any wardrobe. Optional inner pocket sand short/long skirt variations included.

What will you learn?

I will teach you the sewing skills you'll need, from preparation to constructing your first garment, for all your future sewing projects - such as:

seam allowances and how to use your sewing machine for accuracy

how to put a 'facing' into a garment to create a professional finish
