Happy New Year! ( I know I'm late!)

Thursday 23rd January 2020

Hi Everyone,
Apologies for the late 'Happy New Year' ,the first month is nearly over already and here I am with my first blog of the year! ( I promise to do better) .
Already the year has gotten of to a busy start with lots of enthusiasm from new pupils anxious to begin their sewing, crocheting or knitting journey.
Lots of enthusiastic regular sewers starting new sewing projects and the great anticipation all round is ...
When will the dates for 2020
Great British Sewing Bee be announced and equally importantly who will present and what will the challenges be.

Lots of you will know that I always have lots of WIP's on the go, and this years. Challenge for me will be to complete a crochet blanket

Where would you use this blanket in your home? I think it would look beautiful draped over the corner end of a bed, or over a chair in a living room. Honestly, this blanket is a perfect example of why I love crochet. The throw is a unique, one of a kind, handmade piece, yet it has a look of being from somewhere like Anthropology. So while it's totally in style, it also deviates from fast fashion. It holds meaning since it's handmade with love and artistry. Yay for crochet!

So, keep a lookout if you want to join me in the challenge , would be a great project for both beginners and improvers alike particularly if you share my attention of a knat problem.

Speak soon ( it will be February next week!! )
